The achievements of Hawke’s Bay artists were celebrated in a special exhibition at Hastings City Art Gallery.
Curated by Whanganui’s Bill Milbank, EAST 2012 presented new work from 36 artists who either live in Hawke’s Bay or have significant links to the region.
Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and mixed media work all featured in the show, which ran until January 13.
EAST 2012 replaces what was the Creative Hawke’s Bay Invitational.
